Just a linquistic note: "Mist" in German has a completely different meaning than it does in English. In the context that Eva used it, it is an expression of frustration.

I wish my knees could get me down the steps to my family room on the lower level. I think I have the $400 one sitting on my TV there! I have had it for years, but I won't be selling it anytime soon.

I finally was able to retrieve my Steinbach Limited Edition Lincoln Nutcracker from my downstairs family room, and it is #4608 out of "only" 12,000 produced in 1992. One site is advertising it now for $475. Mine is not for sale.

The Lincoln sculpture is quite large and heavy. Anyone else familar with Thomas Clark? He operates in Nirth Carolina, I believe.
