RE: Show us your Lincoln collectables!
Just a linquistic note: "Mist" in German has a completely different meaning than it does in English. In the context that Eva used it, it is an expression of frustration.

Something wonderful happened to me last week: an anonymous gift-giver sent me a STEINBACH LIMITED NUTCRACKER-LINCOLN. It came to my workplace. Wow! Very expensive, by the way.

RE: Show us your Lincoln collectables!
I wish my knees could get me down the steps to my family room on the lower level. I think I have the $400 one sitting on my TV there! I have had it for years, but I won't be selling it anytime soon.

Neat, and so appropriate for (to?in?) the season. Obviously they were never sold in Germany

Create your own Lincoln Collectable - Lincoln Walking Stick
Walking Stick Workshop - Springfield, IL Jan. 20, 2018 https://www.facebook.com/events/131310654215695/ (google "walking stick workshop" for one closer to you) ...and add https://www.eparks.com/store/category/24...edallions/ Several Lincoln and Civil War site Medallions to choose from. Plan ahead and make some as Christmas or Birthday gifts. So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in? |

Very expensive, by the way. I finally was able to retrieve my Steinbach Limited Edition Lincoln Nutcracker from my downstairs family room, and it is #4608 out of "only" 12,000 produced in 1992. One site is advertising it now for $475. Mine is not for sale. |

Here is a beautiful Lincoln sculpture by Thomas Clark:
Sorry about the pic being sideways. It straightens out when clicked on. Bill Nash |

RE: Show us your Lincoln collectables!
Bill, clicking on it does not straighten it out for visitors (non-members) of the forum, so I thought I would rotate it and post it for all to see. Personally, I was not familiar with Thomas Clark, but I looked him up, and I see he's done many "great people in history."
