RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia
Excellent, Laurie. Indeed that is the late Nancy Reagan (born Anne Frances Robbins). The source I used said the photo was taken in 1929. Thus, she was 8 years old in the image.

You win best wishes for a wonderful day.

RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia
I am sorry, Gene and Laurie, but it is neither of those First Ladies.

Hint #1: All guesses so far have been in the right century.

RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia
Good guess, Eva, but kudos to Gene. It is Pat Nixon when she was 5 years old.

The prize vault is currently empty, Gene, so I just send best wishes for a wonderful day.

RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia
Pat Nixon was an under appreciated lady.

From FirstLadies.org
"Few, if any First Ladies worked as consistently before their marriage as did Pat Nixon.... From an early age she joined the rest of her family in planting and harvesting peppers, beets, cauliflower, cabbage, tomatoes, corn, and barley. When her mother became debilitated with a liver ailment and cancer (1924-1925), Pat Ryan Nixon assumed the household chores of cooking, cleaning and laundering for her brothers and father, as well as the seasonal farm workers that were hired for the farm, in addition to her farming responsibilities. When her father began to fail because of his terminal tuberculosis (1929-1930), she continued with the household chores, farm chores and to meet his medical bills, also took a job at the farmers and dairymen Artesia First National Bank, rising early to clean the floors as a janitor, then returning after high school to work as a bookkeeper. "

RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia
I have a trivial question (and no answer) - what would a female president's "First Lady" be entitled?

Please feel free to guess on a single part only, too:

1. Who is this gentleman (probably easy)?
2. Where was the photo taken?
3. Whom would you see standing at his right side in the entire picture (I cut away)?
