RE: Extra Credit Questions
Does the logo on the hat have anything to do with the answer?

So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in?

RE: Extra Credit Questions
Does it have anything to do with Austin Golloher and Lincoln climbing a tree?

RE: Extra Credit Questions
No, Gene ... the logo is irrelevant. And nothing to do with Austin Golloher ( a name which I once thought of in a trivial quiz ... and was wrong too)

Hint : Lincoln was the only President to have done this. The images relate to someone else that was the first to do the same thing.

There's a connection with Today.
I'm in Australia.

RE: Extra Credit Questions
Superb ... and you must have done it without googling. Yes , a patent. The first woman.
Its International Women's Day (8th March here).

https://www.invent.org/inductees/mary-di...nnecticut.

Mary Kies "Her patent, issued May 5, 1809, was for a process for weaving straw with silk that was adopted by the New England hat-making industry" ( I see it says "silk" but the issue of "straw hat" seems most relevant)

1809 ... Lincoln's BirthDate. And of course he is the only President to have a patent.

RE: Extra Credit Questions
I think I could have dragged that one out a bit longer .... any way, before Gene gets in, reminds me of a song
