RE: Assassination Trivia
I ask that folks try to get this one without googling.

Robert Lincoln was in the general proximity of three presidential assassinations.

Because of this, one author nicknamed him Jinxy McDeath.

Who dubbed Robert as Jinxy McDeath?

RE: Assassination Trivia
The similarity to "Boaty McBoatface" makes me think this is a 21st century dubbing.

RE: Assassination Trivia
Excellent thinking, Steve. Yes, this nickname for Robert is used in a book published in the 21st century.

RE: Assassination Trivia
I think I can guess at this one because I find the author very disrespectful to history (and she visited Surratt House and was disrespectful to a volunteer). Sarah Vowell in her satirical Assassination Vacation.

You are correct, Laurie. Yes, it was Sarah Vowell in Assassination Vacation.

Eye/Nose Recognition Trivia:

Whose eye/nose is this? The person has been previously mentioned on the forum and is part of the Lincoln assassination saga.

Good try, Michael, but Laurie has the excellent eyes for this one. Kudos, Laurie. Indeed it is Boston Corbett.

RE: Assassination Trivia
Good try, Eva, but no. You are on the right track in that this man is part of the assassination story but is not a part of Booth's conspiracy.

RE: Assassination Trivia
Who is this?

Feel free to left-click on it, to enlarge.

Ok ... this is confusing (sorry) but I've got 2 totally different answers for this ... dont blame me, blame the people that maintain the internet (whoever that it is) can you give me either ... or both of them?

In other words ... I have two people (one associated with Lincoln through the assassination; the other person associated in another way) for this same image on the internet.
