Lawrence Gardner / Grover Cleveland
Lawrence Gardner, the man who ended the 148 old mystery of the JWB autopsy photo, was a prominent citizen of Washington D.C.. After a short stint selling insurance, Gardner entered politics and became a leading figure in the Democratic party.
Gardner played a significant role in helping his friend and doppelganger Grover Cleveland, win the Presidential Election. Gardner so resembled Cleveland that he was often mistaken for him during public events. |

RE: Lawrence Gardner / Grover Cleveland
I saw Cleveland's great-grandson on a C-Span show about the Presidents a few years ago.
Facially the fellow was an absolute dead ringer for the president, but he added that luckily from the neck down he didn't resemble Grover!! |

RE: Lawrence Gardner / Grover Cleveland
Did anyone happen to save John E.'s post of a photographic image of Lawrence Gardner? It doesn't seem to have been saved here since it was posted in 2012. If you did, would you please post it again? Many thanks!
