#8 sounds like what we have when someone beats Eva in her "Stump the German" category....

Here's the tally, as I see it.

Good comparison, Joe!

Here's another term to search for: What is a reticule?
A woman's purse?

Excellent! You get a Christmas A+ in your stocking.
*Sniff* I don't think I've ever gotten an A+ from a teacher before! Thank you, Laurie!

I was in a hurry before and left Susan off the tally. My apologies, Susan. You're pulling up the rear, but if Eva posts a 10 pointer, you could still pull off a win! Keep the faith!

Today will be a busy day, so I better post #22 before finally dropping asleep from the desk for the two hours left (haven't seen my bed yet).

Dreaming of this - what is it?
[attachment=2513]
It's 4:48 A.M. and my eyes are still waking up, so this is a wild guess. It seems to resemble some kind of snakeskin...but why would you be dreaming of snakeskin? So I will ask - is the "thing" in the picture, whatever it is, made of snakeskin? Is it related to that strange doctor: Francis J. Tumblety?
Something is making me think that's a close up of someone's hand. Possibly a statue?
Well I'm seeing a close up of a sofa or some sort of cushion. Is it a piece of furniture that belonged to the Lincolns?
I asked Vicki, and she thinks it might be a mattress.
Now I'm thinking some kind of cookies, biscuits or Holiday treat.
It looks like a fancy bed frame from Value City Furniture
I'm thinking along the lines with Vicki, I think it may be a quilt or bed covering.
I may be taking Eva's comment "dreaming of this" a little to literal.
Sleepy
Is it a Sleep Number bed from the Garrett House JWB slept on the night of the 24th?
Sorry for delay and thank you for such great ideas. So far Vicki and Gene are the closest, although not entirely correct.

Hint #1: Joe might have touched it.
