The Surratt Society's copy of Hallowed Ground just arrived in the mail today, but I didn't have time to turn the cover. The only time that I have been upset with the CWT was 5-6 years ago when a subdivision was planned almost to the door of the Dr. Mudd House. The Surratt Society sent a letter to the Trust asking for guidance and received a response that they concentrated on land, not buildings.
