Does anyone know if you can take an Uber/Lyft from New Salem State Park to downtown Springfield? Thank you.

RE: travel
This may help, though I've never used it

https://www.uber.com/global/en/r/cities/...eld-il-us/

Most ubers charge a bit extra for me. I like to ride with the windows down and stick my head out a bit to take in all the different scents. I shed a lot and when excited I drool a bit, and bark when I see something interesting.

So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in?

Fido, you doggie charm will earn you free rides from admirers. Don't waste your money on a taxi!

RE: travel
I tried the site that Gene generously provided, and I batted .500. In mock trials, going from New Salem to the Old State Capitol, one time I could get a ride the other time "unavailable". The cost was $38.00. I always wanted to go to Springfield on February 12th and participate in some of the activities. I remember being at the AL Airport after 5-6pm on one occasion, and it was dead, with no restaurants or anything else open. I guess Springfield is still "small" when the legislature is not in session.
