Confederate States of America
Were any U.S. presidents citizens of the Confederate States of America?

RE: Confederate States of America
I guess the answer is technically no as the Confederacy was never internationally recognized.

But I know what you mean. Woodrow Wilson was a boy living in Virginia during the war. Former U.S. President John Tyler was a member of the Confederate Congress when he died. Those are the only two I can think of.

You got them, Steve . Well done. Yes, I thought almost the same as you. I was reading about Woodrow Wilson in Wikipedia and it referred to him and John Tyler as being citizens of the Confederate States of America.

RE: Confederate States of America
Was this supposed to be a trivia question?

Yes. Trivia question. And I realised that some might pose that query.

I also thought the answer was either going to be forthcoming very quickly or people would be puzzled.

I was interested to see ... well, whether it was a stupid question. I honestly didn't know. If it was, what the hell. If it wasn't, great.

I considered spelling out that it was a Trivia, but that would have spoilt the double barrelled nature of it.

It shows, again, that Wikipedia can be misleading.... if not downright wrong. As indeed Chatgp can be ... and probably Deepseek.
