Happy holidays! On this Christmas Eve I thought this would be a good "Who and Where" trivia question.

On Christmas Eve 1860 Lincoln paid a visit to someone. Who was that someone and where did the visit take place.

No idea, but I think the visit to his stepmother was later (within a few weeks of when he departed Springfield for Washington).

Sorry for the delay. Good guesses Susan and Roger but not correct.

This is someone Lincoln had a long friendship with in spite of some rivalries.
The visit took place in Springfield.

Roger, it was at the home of James Matheny and his wife Maria. Your correct guess of Baker wins you a Christmas pudding delivered next Christmas Eve 2021.
