Ohhh, difficult question!
My second favorite would definitively be the Young Lincoln from Dixon.
And also, the smily Lincoln from Bloomington as well as the one in Hodgenvilly, KY, opposite to the child statue that Roger posted earlier.
I would be totally firm in my opinion if there wasn't the one in Richmond (with Tad) to consider as well as the majestic one in Bunker Hill OR the new one in Gettysburg.
Phew, Eva, you are right - hard to decide...
Yes...my #2 would most likely also be a "young" one, probably one of those Gene post because of the dog. Or the "Austrian" (copied) one because of the horse - actually I like the animal-book combination. But then again I also like the Hawaii statue of him chopping wood (and I'd sure love to VISIT it...)

I think it's been established over the years that Lincoln has the most statues and memorials with his image than anyone in Western civilization except Jesus Christ and perhaps Napolean Bonaparte perhaps.

Anybody have any good photos of the Vinnie Reams' statue?
I have endured a great deal of ridicule without much malice; and have received a great deal of kindness, not quite free from ridicule. I am used to it. (Letter to James H. Hackett, November 2, 1863)

Doesn't he rank #2 behind Jesus in the "most books about"-field, too? (I didn't expect Napoleon #3 in statues, but I have no other guess either.)
