Betty-- Love your work with these cartoons; you are the creative one.

Hi Bill-- I bet your tree was great. Would love to see a picture of your Lincoln Theme Tree. If you have a picture, please post.

Unfortunately I have no picture of my Lincoln tree- but it certainly garnered a lot of discussion!

RE: Conspirator Christmas
Now I feel that my hot pink Christmas is sadly lacking! I do have one ornament from Lincoln's cottage at least . . .

Hi Susan,
I also felt like my tree was a little lean. Last night I decided to add a picture of Ned Spangler and Mary Surratt. Looks much more complete.

RE: Conspirator Christmas
Quote:I can't even come up with a Boothie Christmas song!
OK.....here's a quickie-sickie...(sung to the tune of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer)
Mikey, the Laser-Eyed O'Laughlen
Had a Pair of Bright Red Eyes
And if you ever saw him, you'd
see he lit up the skies....
All the other conspirators used to
laugh and call him names; they
never let poor Mikey, join in their
Quoits games -
Then one foggy Christmas Eve,
Santa came to say, "Mikey,
with your eyes so bright, won't
you drive my sleigh tonight?"
Then how the others loved him,
as they shouted out with glee,
"Mikey, the Laser-Eyed O'Laughlen,
You'll go down in History!"
(Thanks to Dave Taylor and Boothiebarn for finding this WONDERFUL painting!!)

Did you rip off "Wilkes Booth The Head Conspirator"
But I still think my heart shaped frame theory is a good one!
