I was in Vienna last week, and "met" this "friend of humanity".  Do you recognize him? 
And how did he influence Lincoln? (I have honestly no idea, besides that his writings were read.)

Karl Marx, and there's a lot on him, Lincoln and the CW, Marx was a reporter in London on the topic. He also wrote Lincoln :

Yesterday I happened to come across this pharmacy:
   
While there may be many "Lincoln-Pharmacies" in the US, there certainly aren't many in Germany, so I find it worth to be "honored" here. Where is it?

Good guess, Roger, it is a harbor city, but not Wilhelmshaven. The building in the second photo is actually quite prestigious.

Excellent guesses from both of you, but Hamburg is correct.The building is the Elbphilharmonie, one of the largest concert halls in the world (and one of the most beautiful IMO):

Oh neat! Did you happen to determine which Lincoln the Apotheke might be named after? A Brit by the name of Lincoln who settled long ago in Hamburg?
I didn't know the Beatles did punk! My mother always said they were innovative, but so ahead of their time? Gonna add that recording to my music mix!

Yes, they originally wore cowboy boots and leather before Brian Epstein put them into suits.
Amy - I do not know but would rather think the pharmacy was named after Abraham Lincoln. Yes, and the Beatles were certainly innovative, they did a lot of "firsts" (including the first music video - Strawberry Fields). So, did you k ow this one from the White Album? It's actually my alarm clock sound (the only that works for me)
