Herb - is there a provenance to this; that it was in the pocket of a Confederate soldier at Gettysburg?

I find online that these pennies range in price between $16.00 on eBay and about $169-$200.00 on other sites. The provenance would make the price sky-rocket....

Wiki has an interesting piece regarding the "model" for the Flying Eagle coin; "Peter the Eagle!" Had never heard of this before....
