| How do you change history?
If you say it enough does it become truth? Lincoln apparently wasn't Republican he was a Democrat. But then again Democrats have always claimed Jefferson. Wasn't he a "Democratic-Republican", which actually consisted of two factions Democrates and Whigs, both of which he claimed were too authoritarian and partisan. He actually was a liberal, which in this day would translate to libertarian. But to try and claim Lincoln a Democrat? http://dailycaller.com/2013/11/19/update...ats-right/ http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013...-illinois/ " Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the American Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford | |||
