It is definitely NOT a photo of Mary Surratt - at least the Mary Surratt that we study! It has been nearly ten years, I think, since this little "goodie" was offered to Surratt House. I will say that there were multiple copies of this offering out there at one time. Put them all together, and there would have been quite a chunk of hair chopped from the real Mary Surratt.

Another fine example of buyer beware. BTW: Along the same lines, Linda Anderson pointed out to me the other day that used copies of The Reason Lincoln Had To Die were being offered for as much as $151.00! Even P.T. Barnum would be amazed at how many suckers there are out there in this wonderful age of technology.
