JFK Thriller PARKLAND Opens Nationwide on Friday
Thank you to Laurie for sending this link along with her comment, "From the same company that did The Conspirator. Some big names attached to this one – including Marcia Gay Harden, who I hoped would play Mary Surratt. She graduated from Surrattsville High School, believe it or not."

I think I can wait a while to see this one.

So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in?

RE: JFK Thriller PARKLAND Opens Nationwide on Friday
We just saw it this afternoon!!
Good movie, it sticks to the facts-no Oliver Stone agenda
Paul Giamatti excelled as Abraham Zapruder
And whoever played Margurite Oswald played her perfectly as the moneygrubbing fool she was.
Based on Bugliosi's book, 'Four Days In November'.
As much as we enjoyed it, I can see it popping up on DVD very soon.

At what point in the Kennedy history does the movie begin? Does it start on the fatal day in Dallas? Is the Kennedy portrayal good?

I'm reminded of the extensive work Dr. John Lattimer in regards to the JFK assassination. I bevieve he was chosen by the Kennedy family to examine the evidence. I suppose the movie doesn't come to any conclusion as to whether Oswald acted alone or not?

My wife and I saw it and thought it was very good. The emergency room scenes are not for the faint of heart.

I heard through a reliable source that Rich Smyth was the man on the grassy knoll.

No, it was really Elvis, searching for the peanut butter and banana sandwich that he dropped.....Big Grin

RE: JFK Thriller PARKLAND Opens Nationwide on Friday
You are not going to believe this, but Surratt House has attracted the attention of an over-the-hill Elvis impersonator, who shows up about once a week now with someone new to take the tour. His friends are somewhat unsavory also.

He's not all bad, however. Two weeks ago, he walked into my office and told me to call Pizza Hut and order a large one for my staff. He paid for it - and I ordered it since I knew where it was coming from and handled the delivery. Elvis's hands never even touched the box. I was a tad squeamish however when he handed me a $20 bill out of his pocket....

This Elvis really does look like he's been living on a desert island with JFK and Hitler. He brags about how women follow him everywhere and even propose to him. I wonder if they are grandmotherly types who are proposing he take a shower, wash his greasy hair, and put on clean clothes. I know - I'm being unkind - but I am a grandmother and cleanliness matters to me!

He claims to be/or was. I can see where he could have been one about thirty years ago, but time has not been kind.
