RE: It's surgery
Glad to hear this, Rob! Please, keep up with your healthy diet, that often has a great effect! As to the age - 50 is "nothing". Anyway I would refuse to think in terms of stereotypes. A friend of mine started dancing ballett at the age of 56. Everyone found him crazy at first, but he didn't care. He is 67 now and still dances. Although he didn't become another Nurejew, it makes him happy and it's a pleasure to see that.

RE: It's surgery
Rob,
Great news! As to turning 50, each of my decade birthdays has seen some singular event or milestone in my life and so I have looked forward to them. Your work on Ida Tarbell is one of those singular events or milestones. Joe |

RE: It's surgery
Thanks Joe. Here's hoping it doesn't take me until 60 to get it done (now Sandburg on the other hand.....).
Best Rob Abraham Lincoln is the only man, dead or alive, with whom I could have spent five years without one hour of boredom. --Ida M. Tarbell
I want the respect of intelligent men, but I will choose for myself the intelligent. --Carl Sandburg
