Railroad Time table - Wash. - Balt.

We are guessing too much. Here is a bit of information I accumulated when I was searching Sarah. I was interested in how the spies got to Canada. Here is the Washington- Baltimore timetable (to and from) provide by the National Railroad Historical Society for the 1860's.
B & O Trains Washington to Baltimore.

B & O Trains Baltimore to Washington

Train time was between 1Hr-15Min. and 1Hr-45 min. (One way)

Fare was $1.50 (about 3 cents / mile. 12 stops each way.

This is a Railroad Time Table. Did you ever hear of a train being "on time"? In their defense, I can offer - A Train Company set their schedules based on the time at their Headquarters. That makes a mess if they cross into another time zone (If there was one!)

I have several Railroads between Canada and Washington, if anyone needs that Info.
