Something to relate to...
Found this online and thought I would share since I'm sure it pertains to about 95% of us:

OMG, yes!

Was in Barnes and Noble yesterday -- and I was bad! I can't resist the inside of a bookstore as I'm sure a lot of us can't....

Hey, some women (like my sister can't resist shoes?!?!) Never did understand that one - I can't resist BOOKS or antiques....

Since my B&N stocks two books on Lincoln, my weakness is online bookstores. You can find practically any book there.

We are all so bad! I especially love the old independent book stores-lots of goodies to be found in those.

Oh yes, Bill!

Get me inside an ANTIQUE bookstore and you MAY see me next year if you're lucky!! There is just something about old leather bound books - the feel, the smell; that I LOVE!

Most comforting thread! One often feels like the odd one out amongst flocks of shoe maniacs and kindle backers.

Never understood the pull to e-books. Yes, they are portable and all that jazz, but there is nothing like reading an actual book and turning actual pages.

It is so great to hear a member of the younger generation say that, Kate!

I love books, the older the better. My nearest bookstore is almost an hour away, but amazon.com comes right to my own doorstep embarrassingly frequently. Especially now, with two little grandsons for Grammy to make sure have the same lifelong love. Any of my kindergartners will be happy to tell you "Mrs Foster's favorite thing in the whole world is books" and it rubs off on them too.

Bless you Grammy/teacher Foster. I think you and I and other members of this forum are a dying breed.
