Wow, Rogerm, congratulations on knowing that!

Good job Rogerm. Our posts crossed in cyberspace. You win an 1860s spa treatment at Ojo Caliente springs, New Mexico. Seriously this place has a fascinating history. Here's a sample.
"Then in 1868, Antonio Joseph, New Mexico territory’s first representative to Congress, built the first bath house. Ojo began to provide overnight lodging, a post office and a general store, where historical ledgers prove Carson purchased supplies."

It's still operational today. Enjoy!

New question:
What classic movie has a scene involving an alien and a little boy looking at the Lincoln statue at the Lincoln Memorial?

I'd say "Mr Smith Goes to Washington",by Frank Capra.

Hint: This is a bath Lincoln took in the White House but not in the bathroom.

He took public opinion baths. That's how he called playfully the seekers, petionners and citizens who visited him during office hours.

Sounds like something Bruce Dern might say?

I think I remember Walter Matthau saying the line in one of his films with Jack Lemmon, but I can't think of which one.

It was a b/w film.

Steve: You are correct! It was the great Walter Matthau. And, yes, Jack Lemmon was also in the film. The name of the film?
