New Lincoln books on the horizon
One of the advantages of being on Audible is that I can get a bead on new Lincoln books that are coming out. Some won't be out until next year, so that will give you plenty of time to save up.
In no particular order are: Brought Forth on This Continent: Abraham Lincoln and American Immigration by Harold Holzer. Here is a link. Our Ancient Faith: Lincoln, Democracy, and the American Experiment by Allen Guelzo. Yet another book from the prodigious Professor. Differ We Must: How Lincoln Succeeded in a Divided America by Steve Inskeep. Seemingly a very important book in today's times I'm sure as the months roll on we will have several more. Best Rob Abraham Lincoln is the only man, dead or alive, with whom I could have spent five years without one hour of boredom. --Ida M. Tarbell
I want the respect of intelligent men, but I will choose for myself the intelligent. --Carl Sandburg
