Anthony Pitch
Just received word that Anthony Pitch, author of They Have Killed Papa Dead passed away on Saturday and is being buried today. One of the better authors of Lincoln assassination materials and an interesting raconteur.
ANTHONY S PITCH Passed away peacefully at Suburban Hospital on Saturday, June 29, 2019 surrounded by his family. He will be missed by his wife, Marion, his children Michael and Elaine, Nomi and Moti, by his grandchildren, Kayla, Maya,Eli and Raphael, and by all who knew him. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2019, 1 p.m. at Judean Memorial Gardens Chapel, Olney, MD. Anthony requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Tourette Syndrome Association of America, 42-40 Bell Boulevard, Bayside, NY 11361. This is very sad news. IMO, Tony's book on the assassination is underrated. I think it is really a very good book and a valuable addition to the field of Lincoln assassination lore.

His son posted the following on Linkedin:
This is Anthony's son, Michael, with very sad news to report. This past Thursday, Tony fell in the kitchen and sustained a traumatic head injury causing a massive brain bleed. We kept him on a respirator long enough for my sister to fly in from overseas to say her final good byes. He passed away peacefully on June 29 at 4 pm with family by his side. |
