He looks like Abe. I wonder if he was trying to look like him?

I think you are right, Bill. I checked Lloyd Ostendorf's book to see if he included a date for that image, but he does not.

RE: Extra Credit Questions
What famous comedian of a long-ago era had been described as a "deadpan Abraham Lincoln?"

RE: Extra Credit Questions
Rob, you're right on the money!
Now see if you know this one-although it is not Lincoln related. What famous record album cover was Keaton pictured on?

Well, I'll just say that the album has a song by the one-and-only Billy Shears!

RE: Extra Credit Questions
Yes, Jim! As far as I'm concerned-the greatest record of the rock era. I'm surprised with the many persons depicted on the album cover that Lincoln isn't included.

RE: Extra Credit Questions
Bill, I've wondered about that myself. My understanding is that each band member could choose a few of the folks they considered most important to them. The record company vetoed at least two of their picks, but I guess Lincoln wasn't on these folks' radar.

Funny, though, considering they had a Bowery Boy and Tom Mix!

Notice that I'm still not providing the answer!!!

RE: Extra Credit Questions
Fill in the blank:

When Mary Lincoln was traveling in Europe she wrote a friend:

"It does appear to me, that ____________ has spoiled me for seeing any other place in Europe."
