Sad News - Passing of Karrie Lynn Nash
I have some very sad news for the forum. Karrie Lynn Nash, daughter of Bill Nash (LincolnMan), passed away on June 4, 2016. She was 35 years old.

Bill, I know you need our support right now as this is such a terrible loss. We are all here for you.

RE: Sad News
Thank you so much Roger. My daughter Karrie was an angel. She would ask about Lincoln and his life. She was able to make one trip to Springfield with her mother and I. We went to the museum and the tomb among other things. She bought a Mary Todd doll at the museum. She liked that Lincoln was so simple and yet so profound. I told her many stories about him- like Mary Todd running him out of the house in anger. Thank you all for your support and prayers. She was a sweet Christian who is now in the arms of Jesus.

RE: Sad News
Bill & Donna, please find some comfort in the knowledge that many of your friends here are saddened with this news and offer prayers for your peace and comfort.
Sending you an internet hug, redeemable next time I see you.

So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in?

Bill and Family,

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. My daughter came near to death when she was four, and it was the worst day of my life. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May God grant her eternal rest.

I'm so sad and sorry to hear this, Bill - my thoughts are with you and yours. What a beautiful smile she had, and her interests reveal a warmhearted, deep, most lovable and loving personality. I remember you talking about her:

Despite the Fanny McCullough letter, these words by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry have often been comforting to me, I hope they might be a bit to you, too:

I am so sorry to hear this, Bill. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Eva has described very well what Karrie was like so I can only add that Karrie was a special person who was supported by wonderful family and friends..

The passage by Saint-Exupéry is lovely, Eva. Thank you.

Bill,

My sympathies to you and your family.
