Betty, you've been a guide at other historic houses. Have you ever read a recent book and had the feeling that the author had been on one of your tours and that you were reading your own words?
I have no problem with that because we want to be purveyors of history, but it sure is a weird feeling of deja vu when you read what you know you have said over the years.
Yes....and I understand -- when I saw a certain book at Barnes and Noble a few years ago and saw my OWN words verbatim put into someone else's book - with no credit at ! Shocked is not the word.....
