Quakers in Pumkinhook!
Today-We went to listen to speakers[E.C.Stanton-actress]and Dr.Nadia Shahram[Muslim Women's Rights Author and Activist] at the 1816 Quaker Meeting House.This where our Dr.Kate Larson spoke last year.The entire experience was Fantastic!

E.C.Stanton had a little knowledge of Mary Surratt and Dr.Mary Walker but,I was asked to elaborate to the audience[100 people]about Dr.Mary Walker.I referred them to our own BettyO and Dr.Walker attending the trial and hanging of Mary Surratt.E.C.Stanton knew more about Mary Surratt than of Dr.Mary Walker.
Tomorrow,we have been invited to Seneca Falls,NY[35mins]by the Women's Rights National Park Superintendant[she was in attendance today].More to come. |
