I had the exact same thought! I guess they think the general public is so in tune with Lincoln having a beard they thought they better put a bearded picture of the actor on the flyer so no one got confused. Seems more confusing to me. Marketing does what marketing does.

Agree! Not to mention that the actor's beard seen too gray to favor Lincoln's hair.

I just found out that the play (or a version of it) has been around for a while, and Richard Boone (of Have Gune Will Travel) was in it back in the 1950's on Broadway according to this. Has anyone seen this video or the play?
