A Bit of Levity
I think I've been working too hard.... decided to play around last night with some modern t-shirts and the conspirators....

RE: A Bit of Levity
Did Lewis Powell have feelings for both Bronson ladies or just one of them?

Very good Betty!

Additional designs available
Dr. Mudd - "Break A Leg"
John Wilkes Booth - "I'm With Stupid"
John Surratt - "Run OJ Run"
Louis Weichmann - "What, Me Worry?"

So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in?

It was said that he was enamored of older sister, Maggie, (18 years his senior) when he first met her at Gettysburg - and then transferred his feelings over to the "younger" sister (still 15 years his senior) upon introduction to her at the Branson House when he left Mosby's Unit in January of 1865. When they became "engaged" is anyone's guess, but it would had to have been from February or March, 1865 - certainly a whirlwind courtship - unless he thought she was pregnant and was therefore going to "do the right thing" by marrying her.... it's a fascinating subject, but there is a lot of speculation.
