Personal Traits of Abraham Lincoln (1912)
Good book written by Helen Nicolay (John Nicolay's daughter)
It's a facsimile reprint, but a nice quality copy. I believe it is available free on line, but I wanted a hard copy and was able to get a new one for $7.63 on Amazon back in September, but I wouldn't pay $35.94 that they are asking now. The price will probably drop. She takes notes from her fathers files and focuses on Lincoln's personality and how it was shown through his accomplishments and the things he said. I enjoyed it.

So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in?

Stackpole Books brought out a reprint a few years ago, but it seems to have gone out of print.

And Helen Nicolay lived until 1954! Anyone know where she is buried?
