150th Gettysburg anniversary newspaper series: "On Lincoln's Mind"
Illinois' State Journal-Register announced a 10-week series, to start this Thursday:
Quote: The Papers of Abraham Lincoln project is putting together a fascinating book that will be available to visitors at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum during 150th anniversary observances of the Gettysburg Address. I have endured a great deal of ridicule without much malice; and have received a great deal of kindness, not quite free from ridicule. I am used to it. (Letter to James H. Hackett, November 2, 1863) |
