O.H. Oldroyd
If you have not yet seen the latest issue of The Surratt Courier, it contains a superb article on the life of O. H. Oldroyd. Check it out.

RE: O.H. Oldroyd
Thanks for the plug, Joe. The author of the article is Bob Allen, a longtime narrator of our Booth Escape Route Tours. He has promised to do something similar on both George Alfred Townsend and Stanley Kimmel.

RE: O.H. Oldroyd
I agree Joe. I really liked this concise bio. There were a lot of things I did not know about the man.

RE: O.H. Oldroyd
I decided that I certainly thank Mr. Oldroyd for being wise enough to collect anything Lincoln early in the game, but after reading several articles (of which Bob's is the most detailed) on the man, I have also decided that he would not be on my "favorite people" list...

RE: O.H. Oldroyd
Great article about Oldroyd, someone I've always read about but never really knew anything about.
And I agree with Laurie-the man had an element of sleaziness about him |

I greatly enjoyed the article and have enjoyed meeting Bob on the BERT stop at Ford's.

RE: O.H. Oldroyd
"The Narrative of a Walk" chapter of his book is absolutely fascinating.
