Am I The Only One?

You are not the only one. I always try to read every single post. Yet there are been numerous times I will still come upon one I hadn't read before. I don't know how I missed it the first time. Possibly it's just me, or it's a software glitch that will be fixed when the next MyBB update is issued.

It looks to me that the team of folks who wrote the MyBB software issue updates once or twice a year. I will be nervous about installing any updates as I don't want to do something wrong and wreck the whole thing. My whole previous experience is with regular web pages and the code that goes with them; this forum software is very new to me, and I don't learn as fast as I did when I was younger. I get nervous when contemplating changes to the software.
