Yesterday I took the clock to a clocksmith to see if it could be fixed/cleaned so that it will run. I don't think I mentioned it doesn't run. The clock expert flat out said it was too old to fix. Well, I'm not sure he is right about that so I'll be taking it somewhere else. As I looked at my clock I thought about something someone from this Forum said about clocks at one time being set at 7:22? Since the clock is placed in the "Lincoln Room" in my home-that sounds right to me. My wife just rolled her eyes-but hey-she's used to it! Married 40 years and counting...
