Even though I knew most of Clara Harris's story, I found this retelling heartbreaking. The comments are interesting to read. Joe Barry might be interested to learn that one person wrote, 'My 3rd great uncle was there that night.  He was on injured reserve, having recently been in the hospital, visited by Lincoln.  He participate in several searches and  guarding of others."
