I had some problems getting a copy of The Sun Also Rises from my local public library. ( I have a copy now).
The catalogue was pointing me to 'Fiesta : the sun also rises' and I thought that was not what I wanted. In 1927 Jonathan Cape published the novel in London under the title Fiesta. A year after the US had it as The Sun Also Rises . As to why the titles differ ... I dont know. The AI of Google says 'Changed to The Sun Also Rises to emphasize themes of endurance and the enduring nature of the earth, as stated in the biblical passage, rather than just the decadence of the characters'.
