One good thing about visiting there is that you're in no hurry to move on and see other Lincoln sites of interest, like you might be in Springfield.
Mt Pulaski is so small and isolated that all your attention is focused on the 2nd floor of that courthouse and the pace is leisurely. The tours are self guided...another plus. My wife and I were the only ones in that courtroom. No other visitors. And it was peak season..June 2019 |
