So being in that time period and all that was going on in Washington and the unimaginable stress on Stanton who are we to say what he did was right or wrong? I guess it is easy for us to judge him now in the comfort of our home or office not knowing what he knew and felt at the time. Just my opinion. Best Gary

As often said, difficult to judge by today's standards. That also goes with RTLs decision to commit his mother to an asylum. Her condition today would be closest called today a bipolar disorder toppled with PTSD, she too, today, would had needed medication and a psychological treatment. But back then...
