RE: A Sandburg Stumper
Still not much going on (writing seems like such a distant dream), so here's another question.
In 1964, a visitor appeared at Carl Sandburg's North Carolina home. While initially polite, Sandburg soon grew tired of talking to this person, saying he had to get back to work. The visitor left, rather disappointed that meeting his idol wasn't as successful as he hoped. Who was the visitor? Best Rob Abraham Lincoln is the only man, dead or alive, with whom I could have spent five years without one hour of boredom. --Ida M. Tarbell
I want the respect of intelligent men, but I will choose for myself the intelligent. --Carl Sandburg
