Please read this very good article by Mudd House volunteer, Bob Bowser, on the ties that Dr. Mudd had to the city of Baltimore -- something many of us know, but never give serious thought to.

BTW: Bob was my grandson's 11th grade U.S. history teacher several years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the class and learned a lot -- even to the point of wanting to discuss history with me (highly unusual for teenagers today!).
