I have had Rich's OPUS MAGNUS for a few months now. It tackles all aspects of the Brown raid. Consider this. Most books cover an event. It might have some biographical information on some of the main characters. It might have a few pictures of a couple of relics. Rich has biographical info on everybody, He's got relics and artifacts out the yazoo. Example: The baggage wagon used to carry John Brown to the gallows, then carried his body to the train station is extensively covered. The John Brown Pikes is another example. I just don't know any researcher as exhaustive as Rich.

If Qwen Brown had a cat, Rich would know it's breed and name........and the name of all it's progeny and where they are today.
