Those who make their political statements in the form of sarcastic jokes are much more dangerous to me.

I think a lot of younger people have grown up believing that one is not supposed to engage ideas one disagrees with, given the example of late-night "comedians": one is supposed to mock, ridicule, despise, and scorn those who hold them.

Dangerous, indeed.
