She played the young second Mrs. de Winter in Rebecca with Vivian Leigh's lover, Sir Lawrence Olivier as husband Maxim de Winter; she also starred as Jane Eyre in the film of the same name alongside Orson Welles as Mr. Rochester and with Cary Grant in Suspicion....
