That's cool, Jim. Have you read Gary Krist's book, Empire of Sin: A Story of Sex, Jazz, Murder, and the Battle for Modern New Orleans? It's set in the early-1900s and focuses on the social and cultural struggles that the city went through as its "elite" struggled to get control over the elements of vice. Really interesting, especially the history of jazz portions.
