Three guesses on how he described the AL/MTL marriage in his AL biography??

Interesting comments. In the only Carnegie book I have read about Lincoln, Carnegie borrowed heavily from Herndon.
I am in the middle of reading "Mary Lincoln Biography of A Marriage" by Ruth Painter Randall. A very enjoyable book. She doesn't care for Herndon's view of Mary and she does a nice job of explaining why.
