I understand, Eva; only a very few people are born with a violent streak. Evil begets evil. I just abhor how violence is so easily accepted and used as an excuse for one's actions. What's the old line, "The devil made me do it."? Now that I'm a mother and a grandmother, I worry about violence in our society more than ever. There has to be some way to beat the devil at its own game. We have been through some very violent times in our own lifetime, and it does not appear that great strides have been made in correcting the situation.
