RE: Mary Lincoln Dolls
I know years ago the US Historical Society made a BEAUTIFUL Mary Lincoln Doll - complete with Jewelry. She was porcelain. I wanted one badly and never got it....
Here's a link to the Madam Alexander Doll - http://www.dollcloset.com/Madame_Alexand...Dolls.html ![]() This Mary Lincoln Doll is also beautiful - and surprisingly, not TOO expensive! http://antiquechild.com/mary-lincoln-doll-dress/ ![]() The BEST dolls were from the US Historical Society - their dolls were lovely - don't even know if they are still in business (they were based out of Richmond, VA.) The Abe doll is for sale on eBay - and VERY Expensive!! http://www.ebay.com/bhp/lincoln-doll Here is the booklet for the US Historical Society Abe and Mary Doll - written by Harold Holzer - ![]() Here's Abe. You can see the quality. If I remember correctly, Mary was lovely!
