Thank you to all who have posted best wishes, thoughts, and prayers on my surgery that will be done tomorrow. Lincoln people are the best, embodying the virtues that Lincoln so ably demonstrated. I am confident that all will go well and look forward to posting once I am out of my drug-addled state. Thanks again.

I just received a brief note from Joe:
"Just a quick note: 4-hour surgery went well--already sat up on edge of bed and stood, too. Thanks for your prayers-- the best medicine." Joe, we are all thankful for your good news and send our best. |

Great news! Keep on praying, thanks that our prayers were answered and that Joe will continue to recover.
So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in? |
