RE: Extra Credit Questions
Yes, they pretend to be female dances, and do this perfectly. They don't intend to cheat the audience, but to parody the conventions and clichés of romantic and classical ballet. Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo (all-male drag ballet corps) was founded in New York City in 1974.

RE: Extra Credit Questions
A very good idea, Roger, but not correct. The rose didn't witness Abraham Lincoln.

RE: Extra Credit Questions
I have a political presidential campaign badge from 1940 that states:
"Lincoln didn't, Washington wouldn't, Roosevelt shouldn't." What is the badge referring too? Bill Nash |

RE: Extra Credit Questions
I have no idea, so I will ask if this witnessed something Mary Lincoln did when she was in Europe. (?)

RE: Extra Credit Questions
Roger, Mary would have been my next hint - the rose may* have witnessed her, but not in Europe.
(*Please notice that while it is believed the rose dates back to those days there is no absolute proof!) Hint #2: I think it was also a smart idea of Gene's to find out the state. RE: Extra Credit Questions
Mary was in Jacksonville, Florida, in March 1875. Could the rose have seen her there?
